CSI Ministries inspires Pete and Ladeana to do what they can with what the Lord has given them. Often they don’t feel very skilled or talented, but they have seen Him do amazing things with what little they have to offer. They have witnessed new homes and new lives for the Lord.
CSI Ministries provides new ways to see the world, what is really important, and all the variety the Lord placed here. They formed great relationships with Jamaicans and team members traveling to serve on short-term mission trips.
Ladeana first experienced CSI Ministries on a week-long mission trip in 1996 with Parkview UMC youth, and Pete came on the trip the following year with all three of their sons. Two more youth trips followed in 2001 and 2005. Before they returned to help with Great Banquets in 2013, Pete and Ladeana traveled on three week-long trips to Belize through CSI Ministries. As they traveled to help on GB teams, they saw a need for longer term volunteer help. They have been helping with teams from January to March and then again in June and July.
Pete and Ladeana both worked for the US Post Office in Peru driving from the right side of the vehicle, in Jamaica they learned to drive from the right side of the vehicle on the left side of the road. Also, they grew their trust in God while serving in Jamaica.
Pete and Ladeana attend Parkview United Methodist Church and have been engaged in several ministries during their 30 years there. They have been most active in Walk to Emmaus, Chrysalis and Kairos. They have also worked with Habitat for Humanity and the Indiana Nut Growers. Pete also enjoys being a soccer official.
