We spent much time reading through many resumes, holding several interviews, praying and discerning who God had for us next. During this process one applicant continued to rise to the top and in the end was unanimously agreed upon as the new leader for CSI Ministries. I have the pleasure of introducing Len Scott to you all. Len will begin his duties on October 24th. We are excited to move forward!

Taking excerpts from Len’s interviews and biography we have put together a brief glimpse into Len as an introduction for you. We are setting up “meet and greet” opportunities in various homes and churches throughout November, December and January. We urge you to take the time to get to know Len and his family.

CSI Ministries is inspiring to Len because CSI serves on the front lines of gospel mission and works in areas in the world where he and his family have served. He says, “To be able to partner with local churches and pastors for impact in their communities is a great privilege”.

Len believes that working for CSI Ministries is an opportunity to live out all that God has prepared for him. His involvement in Jamaican missions over the last decade coupled with a lifetime of pastoral experience has brought him and his family to the place where they can each fulfill God’s calling on their lives. They are excited about what God has in store for them in the coming years.

Len’s wife Aimee’s first exposure to short-term missions came on a trip to Costa Rica in 2004. In 2006 he accompanied her on their first trip to Jamaica. Since then they have led teams every year to do missions work in the southern areas of Jamaica. They have led medical teams, VBS teams, youth groups, construction teams, as well as ministered in the areas of prayer, worship, elderly visitation, prison ministry, street evangelism and other areas of church work throughout southern Jamaica.

Len and Amiee both grew up in pastor’s homes. Since graduating college in 1990 Len has been serving in some pastoral capacity. Their experience in pastoring, as well as their leading of many missions groups, has brought them to the place where they can serve CSI Ministries well. They know what it is like to be on the pastoral side of the work as well as the missions’ side.

Len graduated from Welch College, Nashville, TN, in 1990 with a BA in Pastoral Administration and Bible. He serves on the board of Pleasant View Christian School in Pleasant View, TN and has served a 2 year term as board chairman. He is the current board chairman of the Cumberland Youth Camp, located in Woodlawn, TN.

Before accepting the position of Executive Director; Len was the pastor of Pardue Free Will Baptist Church where he served for 19 years. His wife Aimee served as the Children’s Pastor. Their daughter Kaitlen was involved in worship ministry as well as assisting in children’s ministry. Their youngest daughter Claiborne was a leader in the youth group also teaching preschool children on Sunday mornings. Their son Benjamin was active in worship ministry where he played guitar each Sunday.

Len has been married to Aimee since June 1, 1990. She is a manager of a local apartment complex as well as a real estate agent. Their oldest daughter Kaitlen, is a 2015 graduate of Union University in Jackson, TN with a BSRN. She is currently employed as an RN at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville, KY. Their middle child is Benjamin, a senior at Welch College in Nashville, TN. He plans to graduate in May of 2016 with an English Major and continue on to graduate school. Benjamin is engaged to Morgan Droll of Ina, IL. Their wedding will be in early June of 2017.Their youngest daughter Claiborne is a business major at Welch College.

Thank you for your investment in CSI Ministries through your prayers, time, wise counsel and finances over the years. Our wish is that you will continually be inspired and encouraged by the ministry of CSI and our work together to further God’s message through missions. As staff and the board of CSI Ministries we are enthused about this new era and fully committed to listen to God and follow the Holy Spirit down whatever roads He may lead. We humbly invite you to continue walking this journey with us.
