Maple Run Friends – Belize

/Maple Run Friends – Belize
Today, we started the day with another beautiful sunrise and breakfast at 7:00 a.m. We then boarded the vans by 8:00 a.m. and were off to The First Stone Church for our last work day. At the church, we all worked hard together to make sure the wall got finished on time. A lot of team work and patience was required today, but seeing the end was a beautiful thing. Seeing the wall finished was almost a bittersweet feeling. We were so happy to see another step in God’s work completed, but also sad knowing that this week was one day closer to coming to an end.
We finished the wall and were all packed back up in the vans around 2:30 p.m. We then headed back to the hotel to work on the slanting fence alongside of the hotel. It was a great feeling to be able to do a little extra for the owner of the hotel who put up with a lot of wild kids and adults all week.

After finishing the fence, we all got cleaned up and headed to dinner around 6:00 p.m. We had 16 amazing pizzas at Balloon Pizzeria and a whole lot of enthusiastic karaoke singers (Thank you Coach J and Zack).
We headed back to the hotel and got ready for the night testimony around 8:30 and were all deeply touched by Courtney Powell’s words. We all reminisced on the week and expressed our sadness for the week to come to an end.

However, the relationships God has let us build this week will last a life time and we all know that, no matter where we all go after this trip. This day has definitely been the most impactful and emotional. God has filled our hearts this week and we are so blessed and thankful for this experience.
