Improvements Being Made To Donor And Team Databases

January 20, 2012

CSI Ministries is pleased to announce that we are moving to improve our donor and team database. We are currently converting our data into a new system. The name of the new software is Denari, and we have high-hopes for improved operations and communication.

This new software will allow us to manage the communication preferences of our supporters much more effectively. As we go through this upgrade, we want you to know that we will be doing everything we can to avoid mistakes. If you wish to no longer receive information from CSI Ministries, please let us know by sending an e-mail to, and we’ll get it adjusted in the new system. If you receive this communication and have formerly requested to be removed from our mailing list, we apologize for the inconvenience.

One of our biggest tasks will be working with all donors who generously support CSI with recurring monthly gifts online and ACH drafts. Denari uses a different merchant services provider for online transactions and requires that we re-enter all financial information to establish recurring contributions. If you give regularly online or use the ACH withdraw, we will call you and help you with the new process as the system allows. We have a learning-curve to overcome, but plan to complete this challenge by the end of February. If you would like to learn more about online giving, please contact our office and we will be happy to assist you.

Another benefit that Denari offers is an online community that enables CSI missionaries to access live data. This means they will have up-to-date contribution records. We will also be testing an exciting feature that will assist in managing short-term teams online. The team software is still in beta-testing, so we have a unique opportunity to provide feedback which may improve or advance the software. If you have any opinions on how this type of online feature might best serve your team experience – we want to hear from you.

One feature we’ll soon be able to utilize is the e-receipt. If you are willing to receive your tax-charitable contribution receipts through e-mail rather than through the U.S. Postal Service, please let us know. This great cost-saving measure will help improve our efficiency and speed of communication with which we contact supporters.  You’re also able to sign up for e-mail updates which provide a quick way to share important information during emergencies.

Thank you for your continued prayer and financial support! Without the hearts God has provided to you, we would not be able to build the important relationships in communities around the world. Short-term missions’ teams through CSI Ministries engage the community and provide fellowship opportunities for team members and the nationals they serve. We’re blessed to have the opportunity to serve with you!
