Our Jamaican Mission staff, whether joining us from distant lands or just down the road from the Mission House, have consistently demonstrated spectacular care for our teams. Each member of our staff radiates a passion for ministry, a desire to see God honored in their work, and a commitment to their churches and communities. They engage in service not merely as a job but as an earnest ministry. The work does not pause even when teams are away from the island, underscoring their unwavering dedication.

The Challenge

Maintaining this level of ministry throughout the entire year poses its difficulties. For those among us whose hearts beat in tandem with Jamaica's rhythm, it is our earnest goal to ensure that our staff will have the tools to engage in active ministry every single day. To realize this vision, we've introduced the "Jamaica365" program aimed at bolstering CSI’s ability to provide consistent ministry funding for our staff. The anticipation is palpable among them as they look forward to engaging more consistently with the community and nurturing the discipleship of those they serve across the wider Highgate region.

How it works

Here's how "Jamaica365" functions: It requires $200 to keep the Mission House fully staffed and operational each day. We invite you to choose a day—perhaps to commemorate a personal milestone or honor the memory of a loved one—and sponsor that day in Jamaica for $200. The days you select will be highlighted on our online calendar and acknowledged on our social media platforms, celebrating your significant occasions. As a token of our gratitude, each sponsor will receive a copy of Pinto’s Jamaican cookbook.

For those ready to make this commitment, your sponsored days can be covered through a one-time gift via check, cash, or online by credit card.

To contribute online:

1. Click Donate and enter either a one-time gift of $200 or opt for a recurring monthly payment of $16.67.

2. Select Jamaica 365 under “Apply My Donation To”

3. Be sure to designate the person or event you wish to honor with your sponsorship.

4. When or if applicable, please enter a date associated with the person or event being honored.
